When quilting, does the fabric need to be prewashed?
How about the batting? Will it hold up itself in the washer and dryer?

Which quilting fabric should I use?
I’ve never made a quilt before, but I’ve always wanted to. I’m really interested in using pre cut panels. I want to make one for my boyfriend so it can’t be too girly…Can anyone who quilts help me find some nice quilt panels and possibly a pattern I can use them with? Thanks!
