Where can I get wholesale fabric that has great prices and good variety?
I have been searching and searching and searching for a wholesale fabric distributor. Anything I do find, they charge average/normal price $7.99/yd. Might as well just go into JoAnn’s and buy it there if that’s the case.
I am looking for a company online that sells on average $3/yd or so (give or take a dollar). A company that has a good variety of fabric and not just cheesey and outdated prints/material. I want current, up-to-date, modern, vintage, novelty (Michael Miller, Robert Kaufman, etc).
Please help! Thank you!!!!

I too have looked for a true wholesaler on line; I don’t think they exist. I belong to WorldWide Brands and they don’t have one either. I use fabric for quilts, so I’m not looking for any name brands, but I check eBay a lot for bargains (just watch out for the S&H charges) and if you’re looking for flannel or cotton; I get flannel at WalMart for $2.79 a yd and cotton between 2.99 and 3.50 for the current kids/novelty fabric. If you’re looking for smaller pieces WalMart and JulieAnn sell the end of the bolt, fatquarters, and discontinued fabric for up to 50% off. Hope this helps.
It’s not a true wholesaler, but some of the best deals I’ve seen on-line have been at fabric.com. Their clearance section is less than $2/yd, and their regular prices aren’t too bad. It may have what you’re looking for.

I really like this site, Good Fabrics , great prices. You can search by manufacture or the colors you are looking for , wide variety of quilting from batiks to novelty! The quality is never a disappointment and they ship fast. I usually get my order in 3 -4 days tops.
