@MsSsteinke The demonstration is done with worsted weight yarn and a size G or H crochet hook. It is possible to use other weight yarn and a different size hook though, it just depends on what style you prefer. We have used a funky decorative yarn and it is fun too!

Good tutorial videos, but need more info on tools used. What size crochet hook are you using, and what weight of yarn?

Mark the last hole with a pin, move the fleece to a unpunched section, run the skip blade over the new section and repeat.

how do you put the holes in a larger piece of material where you would have to move the ruler/straight edge ?

Is there a way to do any edging(finish the edging) on the blanket without crochet? I haven’t learned the crocheting thing yet and it will take some time to get it. So nice.
