Cool video about damask, take a look:
The last of the damask roses Colors October snow Like the red of her lips On the white of her skin In the moonlight’s midnight glow Petals on petals of velvet Bathed in perfume and sweet morning dew Not every petal is perfect But rose perfume paints everything true. She said she’d return before winter While the roses were still in bloom The stars danced in her eyes that night As she moved toward the moon. The wind filled the yellow sails The waves were tall and white The boatman took her trembling hand And I lost her to the night. Every evening I wait in the moonlight On the path where the roses bloom Sometimes in sleep I hear her voice Or smell her sweet perfume. She bathes in rosewater One day she thinks Her memories of him will grow dim But still she remembers And always will long for The red damask roses… and him. © copyright Wed Dec 30 04:02:12 UTC 2009 – All Rights Reserved
